Marissa Ritter
Hello,
I’m a Medical Laboratory Science student at Michigan Technological University. I’m very interested in applying to your undergraduate MLS scholarships due in March. I was curious about my eligibility because my university’s credit system isn’t a flat four-year route. I’ll be taking my clinical practicum at Michigan Medicine from June through October 2026 following my in-person education at Michigan Tech. I’m technically a senior since I’m a fourth-year on campus and walk at the spring graduation but am not finished with my degree until after my practicum in October. I will be paying tuition at Michigan Tech through this summer despite not being on campus, but won’t receive my diploma until after my practicum ends. Seeing as your eligibility states I cannot complete my schooling before September 30, I wanted to verify I’m still eligible because of my practicum dates.
Thank you in advance, and happy new year!
Marissa
